Aircraft docking systems
Fixed and height-adjustable nose, tail, wing and fuselage docks and painting docking systems, designed around your aircraft type and your hangar.
Safe access to every zone, without slowing the check
Heavy maintenance and painting require technicians to work for long periods at height around the nose, wings, fuselage and empennage. Generic stands leave gaps around the aircraft contour, need frequent repositioning and add time to every check.
A docking system closes those gaps. It surrounds the aircraft with working decks at the right heights, carries the services the work needs and stays in place for the duration of the check.
Docks designed to the aircraft and the hangar
- Aircraft contour first: decks and edges follow the aircraft geometry for the zones to be reached.
- Fixed or height-adjustable: screw-jack, hydraulic or electric drives for docks that serve several heights or types.
- Safety and services: guard rails as standard; pneumatic lines, electric supply, rails, sensors and lighting as options.
- Steel or aluminium: structure selected for load, mobility and hangar conditions.
- One team from design to delivery: design, analysis, manufacture and documentation.

Aircraft docking systems: common questions
Which aircraft can you build docking systems for?
All types, from small aircraft to the largest wide-bodies, including rotary-wing, drone and VTOL aircraft. For airliners this means docks for aircraft from the Airbus A220-100 (35.0 m long, 11.5 m high) up to the Airbus A380 (72.7 m long, 79.8 m wingspan, 24.2 m tail height).
Fixed or height-adjustable docks?
Both. Fixed docks suit a single aircraft type in a dedicated bay; height-adjustable docks serve several types or several zones of the same aircraft. Height adjustment can be screw-jack, hydraulic or electric.
Do you build painting docks?
Yes. Painting docking systems are designed to give painters access to the full surface of the aircraft, with the services the paint hangar requires.
What is standard and what is optional?
Guard rails are standard on every dock. Options include pneumatic lines, electric supply, rails, sensor installation and lighting.
Which standards do the docks follow?
The applicable standards are defined per project. In general we design to EN standards and EASA requirements, and to any other standard the client specifies.
What do you need from us to prepare a quotation?
Your operation needs: the aircraft types, the maintenance or painting tasks, the zones to be reached and the hangar in which the dock will be used.
Which materials do you use?
Steel or aluminium structures, selected according to the load case, the required mobility and the hangar environment.
